CY Tan
At age 20, CY has graduated from Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”). Contrary to
the industry norm, he pursued his professional journey in both Taxation and Audit assurance departments in one
of the big-4 accounting firm, providing both professional services from Small Medium Enterprises ("SMEs") to
Multinational Corporations ("MNCs").
Having the opportunity to expose in a few departments during his employment, he noticed there was a gap
between the market needs, and the services actually rendered by the professional firms.
In year 2017, he founded TCY CONSULTANCY, acting as a One-Stop Accounting Center providing Accounting,
Audit, Tax and Company secretary services.
Over the years, from a one-man-show Company, grown to a Company with teams of Chartered Accountants,
serving clients from an extensive range of industries. He is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants
(“MIA”) and is now proudly practicing as a Chartered Accountant in Malaysia.
His life motto is self-discipline. He believes self-discipline is when no one is watching, because we are our biggest enemy.
Kevin Tan
Kevin Tan Chia Sheng is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
(“ACCA”). He previously worked in one of the big four firms which based in Penang, as well as a MNC based in Penang.
Kevin is currently overseeing the operation in Accounting, Audit and Assurance and Payroll division of the firm. He spends a
large portion of his time in team development, motivating and pushing the team to be the most effective and efficient that they
can be. Using his experiences from both audit firm and MNC, he always looks to improve the operation effectiveness and efficiency
in the team to better serve the clients. He is also dedicated for problem solving and building long and lasting relationships with clients.
Kevin strongly believes in life that It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others to succeed.
Nicholas Chor
Nicholas is member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA”) and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (“ACCA”)
and is currently practicing as a Chartered Accountant in Malaysia. Upon his graduation, he served as an experienced auditor with
a big 4 firm based in Penang. During his career, he was also exposed to liquidation, taxation and corporate secretarial
assignments from a wide range of clients, from Small Medium Enterprises ("SMEs") to Multinational Corporations ("MNCs").
His work experiences include assuming the responsibilities as named secretaries, executing corporate exercises, advising
& proposing solutions in relation to the Companies Act 2016, offering tax planning advices and solutions for streamlining of business processes.
Last but not least, he believes in the power of creating possibilities with the ultimate intention of being the source for it happen.
